Felix’s Redistribution Revolution highlights a troubling reality: it can be cheaper for businesses to waste good food than to donate it. We need a system that makes feeding people the priority.

At FoodSource UK, this speaks directly to our ambition. We are developing our pilot hub in Merthyr Tydfil to receive bulk food donations and help redistribute them to local food banks, pantries and community groups, bridging gaps in storage and transport. Our ambition is to build a practical model that can support communities across the country, improving access to nutritious food while protecting dignity and reducing waste.

Local action matters, and national policy needs to support it.
