Inspired in Milton Keynes
Today we spent time with the incredible team at Hubbub, exploring their Food Connect initiatives and community food fridges across the city — including one at the YMCA.
What an amazing organisation Hubbub is. A huge thank you to the team for taking the time to share their work with us — it was truly inspiring to see the impact they’re having on the ground.
As part of the Memnosyne UK Chapter, our FoodSource UK initiative is focused on addressing food waste and food poverty by working alongside organisations already leading the way.
What we saw today was simple, practical action creating real change — not just sharing food, but building connection, dignity and community.
This visit is part of our journey as we prepare to open our FoodSource UK hub in Merthyr Tydfil.
We leave feeling energised, hopeful, and reminded that the solutions are already here.
