The Memnosyne Institute UK Chapter, in collaboration with GUA Africa and partners, has stepped in to support urgent crop funding for Sudanese refugees and indigenous communities in Ethiopia’s Gambela region. This comes as part of the larger Africa Breadbasket Project, aimed at boosting grain production and long-term food security across Africa. Community leader Tayin Gatluak shared a moving message of gratitude, noting how the support has brought renewed hope, opportunity, and stability to families. He highlighted the success of their thriving maize project, which is already improving household food coverage. We are honored to stand with Gambela’s communities in building resilience, sustainability, and a stronger future together.
